Applique Machine Embroidery Designs
Applique Machine Embroidery Designs is not hard to do
so do not be afraid of it
Some things to remember though are
Start with good quality fabrics that have been washed; apply spray starch
and iron till dry between each spraying - I usually apply several coats.
I prefer to use for my applique a fabric that will not fray or if it does
tend to fray using a fray stopper before stitching the satin edging
remember to make sure that your fray stopper has completely dried.
The two designs that I have attached only used a small amount of
fabric so do use up those scraps that you have saved for a rainy day.
When you purchase one of my designs it includes all the instructions
to make your life easier at the machine
Even though it will say maybe 10 colour changes that is only because
you need these stops so that you can firstly know where to place your
applique material and secondly place your fabric and 3rd on the list
to remove the hoop and trim your fabric.
You can use the same colour thread all through the design if you
so wish
